OUR INDEPENDENT HOME BUILDER NETWORK
If you decide to build a Wausau Home, you will contract with an independent Wausau Homes Builder in your locale. Wausau Homes, Inc. will not be a party to that contract, but will supply the Wausau Homes factory-built components to your local builder to be incorporated into the home. Your local builder will hire the subcontractors and material suppliers to complete the home and work with you every step of the process. Wausau Homes does not guarantee the obligations of your local builder.
Each of the builders in our network goes through a training program to learn how to use the latest technology and software. All Wausau Homes Builders are licensed and carry liability insurance. Your builder can provide you with all insurance certificates. Most builders are members of local homebuilder associations.
State-of-the-art Home Design Studios
Wausau Homes Builders understand that homebuilding is a complex process and that everyone’s needs are different. You’ll sit down with your builder in one of our state-of-the-art design studios and discuss your budget, family size, desired square footage, and current home likes and dislikes. They’ll work closely with you to design your home from the inside out, and you’ll get to work with the builder in a single location rather than having to run around or work out of a truck.
Never-ending Guidance
Our builders take great care to listen to and understand the needs of each homebuyer so that they can provide guidance and support throughout the process. Before even talking about plans, Wausau Homes Builders discuss things like why the homebuyer is moving, their lifestyle, optimal square footage, which rooms are the most important, likes and dislikes about the current home, and desired home price.
