About Our Design Studio
The Wausau Homes Cold Spring Design Studio offers new homebuyers inspiration for creating their own custom homes. Owner Kory Bellmont has built extensive experience in the construction industry since 1997. Kory’s career started as a general laborer in excavating, but soon excelled to foreman, project manager, and finally vice president for a development firm. He has led residential and multiplex construction projects for developers and private owners while leading teams in Central Minnesota as well as Hawaii. His depth of knowledge and experience makes him a strong advisor to new homebuyers in his area.
Kory was born and raised in Cold Spring, Minnesota graduating from the Rocori school district in 1996. He relocated back to Central Minnesota in 2008 to raise a family. He strongly believes in giving back to the community through sponsorships and contributions to Youth With A Mission and local 4H. His values at home transition well into his work ethic in the office.

About The Area We Serve
The Wausau Homes Design Studio is centrally located in Cold Spring, Minnesota. We build custom homes in all of Stearns County in Central Minnesota. Cities we work with homebuyers in include St. Cloud, Sartell, Foley, Rice, Collegeville, Sauk Rapids, and St. Augusta to our east. In western Stearns County we build new homes in St. Rosa, Brooten, Elrosa, Georgeville, Spring Hill, Paynesville, Farming, and all points in between.
Cold Spring is known by developers as “the best kept secret in Minnesota.” With a population of just over 4,000 people it humbly began in 1898 with a single quarry and a hardworking stonecutter, Cold Spring has since become one of the largest natural stone manufacturers.
