He grew up working in a family-owned construction business and his parents built Wausau Homes in Northeast Michigan. Michael has been serving the Grand Rapids area for the last 26 years at his current Ada, Michigan location. Michael has specialized in starter homes, vacation cottages, and upscale family homes ensuring every home buyer has the perfect space.
Michael also has a deep understanding of the real estate industry. Over the years he has designed and built 35 condominium rental units which he manages. Additionally, he develops real estate ensuring his customers have access to his expertise and a comprehensive view of the home building landscape.
The Wausau Homes Ada location is one of our premier home builders in Michigan that offers inspiration on everything from floor plan layouts to custom interior home selections. With advanced home rendering technology, we’ll walk you through your custom new home before it’s even built. Each home is designed your way, with a firm price, and always built on time, that’s our promise.
Each Wausau Homes Builder is an independent local business, so you can have the confidence and ease of dealing with a local builder. Plus, each Wausau Homes Builder has access to all of the Wausau Homes design tools and Wausau Homes components.

About The Area We Serve
Our Wausau Homes Design Studio is located in Ada, Michigan which is an eastern suburb of Grand Rapids. We build new homes in all of Kent County including Grand Rapids, Cedar Springs, Kent City, Solon Center, Alpine, Comstock Park, Grattan, Lowell, Wyoming, Kentwood, Caledonia, Byron Center, and all the communities in between.
Grand Rapids is located on the Grand River about 25 miles east of Lake Michigan. A historic furniture-manufacturing center, Grand Rapids is home to five of the world’s leading furniture companies. The city and surrounding communities are economically diverse, and hosts the headquarters to businesses based in health care, information technology, automotive, aviation and consumer goods manufacturing. There are at least 15 institutions of higher education in the metro area with over 1200 acres of park land over 71 city-owned park sites.
