As a premier builder, Wausau Homes Ironwood is focused on providing homebuyers with the best experience possible. Jed Estola has been building custom homes with Wausau Homes since 2004. Born and raised in the area, Jed and his team love all that the U.P. has to offer. Jed and his team are experts at navigating the homebuilding process and are ready to help make every homebuyer’s experience an enjoyable one from start to finish.
Each Wausau Homes Builder is an independent local business, so you can have the confidence and ease of dealing with a local builder. Plus, each Wausau Homes Builder has access to all of the Wausau Homes design tools and Wausau Homes components.
About The Area We Serve
The Wausau Homes Design Studio is located in Ironwood. We build in the communities and surrounding area of Ironwood, Bessemer, Wakefield, Marenisco, Watersmeet, Lake Gogebic, and Ontonagon, Michigan. In addition to work in Michigan, we serve the areas of Hurley, Ashland, Washburn, Bayfield, Iron River, and Mercer, Wisconsin.

There are unlimited opportunities for active adventures at Copper Peak, Porcupine Mountains, Ottawa and Chequamegon National Forests and the Apostle Islands. Winter brings miles of snowmobile trails and incredible skiing at Big Powderhorn, Black Jack, Indianhead, Mount Zion and White Cap ski hills. Water lovers will appreciate Lake of the Falls, Copper Falls, Black River Falls, Lake Gogebic and of course, the great Lake Superior. Indoor explorers can enjoy the many murals, unique shops, galleries and specialty stores found in the Ironwood area.
