About Our Design Studio
A previous Wausau Homes “Builder of the Year” award winner and past president of the St. Croix Valley Home Builders Association, owner Jesse Smith has been in home construction for 21 years. A youth football coach in nearby Osceola, Jesse has lived in the St. Croix Falls area for 16 years, where he and his wife are proud to raise their family. Part of the Wausau Homes family since 1994, Jesse is an established builder within eastern Wisconsin and an expert at navigating the homebuilding process.
Each Wausau Homes Builder is an independent local business, so you can have the confidence and ease of dealing with a local builder. Plus, each Wausau Homes Builder has access to all of the Wausau Homes design tools and Wausau Homes components.
About The Area We Serve
The Wausau Homes Design Studio is located in St. Croix Falls. We build in Polk County and portions of St. Croix and Burnet Counties, we also build in Chisago County just over the border in Minnesota.
Situated along the scenic St. Croix River, just an hour from the Minneapolis-St. Paul area, St. Croix Falls is the “City of Trails.” With a regional professional theatre, a thriving downtown, all-season trails, it is a wonderful place to live and vacation. Enjoy the excitement of the many special events of the area, including Autumnfest, Rivertown Holiday, Falls Sampler, Taste of the St. Croix Valley, Music on the Overlook and Wannigan Days.
