About Our Design Studio
Owners Will and Kathy Barker have been building custom homes in Manistique for over 28 years. They were born and raised in the area with most of their family also currently living in Manistique. The Wausau Homes Manistique Design Studio offers state-of-the-art 3D rendering, custom name brand samples, and guidance to help you create the quality custom home you’ve always dreamed of owning.
Each Wausau Homes Builder is an independent local business, so you can have the confidence and ease of dealing with a local builder. Plus, each Wausau Homes Builder has access to all of the Wausau Homes design tools and Wausau Homes components.
About The Area We Serve
With our Design Studio centrally located in the town of Manistique, and we build across approximately 3,928 square miles in the northern area of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. We build in Delta, Schoolcraft and Luce Counties. Our territory extends from Tahquamenon Falls State Park to Epoufette to Gould City, Manistique, Garden, Nahma, Gladstone, Grand Marais, Pine Stump Junction, and everything in between.

Located on the magnificent north shore of Lake Michigan in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, Manistique offers breathtaking scenery, abundant fishing and thrilling water sports.
